Gary and Lynne

Silverfin Guide Service is a family owned and operated business. Gary and Lynne have been married since 1973, and raised two children, Joel and Rose. Gary’s wife Lynne, holds down the home front by helping to keep things running smoothly in the day to day operations.

Keisuke Matsumoto, Gary's associate guide, has been helping Silverfin Guide Service since May, 2003.

Keisuke started fishing when he was very young, with the help of his uncle, and has always had a passion for fishing. He is quite knowledgeable about many types of fishing, including fly fishing. Kei enjoys teaching others how to be successful fishermen.

Keisuke's wife, Maki, also helps with the business, and is a delightful addition to the "home operations" crew.

Rose, enjoys fishing, and assisted Gary for four summers, during her high school and early college years. Gary feels very fortunate to have had his daughter helping him all those years. She was a great addition to the operation, and enjoyed getting to know peoople from all over the country. Rose has relocated out of state, and recently was married.

Gary and Lynne’s son, Joel, helped assist Gary for a couple of seasons, when the business first started. Joel learned how to fish from his Dad, starting from about 7 years old. They have many wonderful memories of fishing together, and discovering new stretches of rivers. He is an excellent fisherman, and his help is missed. He has also moved out of state.
